PROJECTS

HOME FOR POOR AND WIDOWED

The first two homes were built for a widow and the local pastor and his family in 2014-15 by the Founder/President of RLM.

GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS

RLM has a partnership with Andrew Wommack Ministries International to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

MICRO ENTERPRISE

RLM received contributions to help some children and adults start their own business with the goal of being self-sufficient and to help others in their community.

  • Farm Animal Program where RLM children raise and sell piglets, goats, rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs

  • Widow Entrepreneurs selling flour, salt, soap, making candy, African donuts

COMMUNITY GARDEN

RLM showed the people in the village of Ludwindja how to grow vegetables and allow the harvest to fully grow instead of taking the food prematurely. The first harvest was enough to feed over 200 people. From this first community garden experience the families began to plant their own personal gardens near their huts and homes. In 2021 there are nine community garden across the Village that the people maintain.

RLM HOPE CENTER

Our vision is to provide facilities to help meet the needs of the poor, orphaned, sick and malnourished children of Congo.  Thus far, through the grace of God, we have built a:

  • Multipurpose House

  • Feeding Center to provide nourishment for infants, toddlers and young children

  • Community Kitchen

  • Mini Animal Care Area for pigs, chickens, rabbits

  • Recovery Home (currently being built) to be used as a half-way house for children transitioning from the hospital to their home

  • Mountain School located in the remote areas of the high mountains (currently being built)
